BLUEPRINT Model - Local authority training session slides
Four, free training sessions were offered to local authorities on how they could use the BLUEPRINT Model to accelerate to a circular economy. The sessions were delivered to a total of 35 local authorities across the UK.
The BLUEPRINT Baselining Activity has been designed to support local authorities measure their progress made towards a circular economy while following the BLUEPRINT Model.
Commissioning Analysis provides the evidence to inform effective and reliable decision making. Governance groups will expect sufficient evidence to support and sign-off commissioning decisions.

Financial analysis of BLUEPRINT Library of Things Pilot
A financial scenario analysis was carried out assuming a 20-year financial lifespan for the Essex Library of Things with initial setup costs, 20 years of operational cost and 20 years of revenues.
When looking at opportunities to improve waste reduction and recycling of household waste, food waste is often top of the list. Composition analysis of a small area of Essex (250 residents) indicated that food waste made up around 25% of the general rubbish bin (2022).
