This accessibility statement applies to BLUEPRINT.

This website is run by Essex County Council. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:

  • On the web page Communities > Circular economy directory, the tab landing sequence on the, includes all available map points, not just those visible in map window. This fails both WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.2 & 2.4.2.
  • On the web page About > Reports and presentations, the ‘BLUEPRINT Model - Local authority training session recording’, does not have synchronised captions or a transcript available. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.2.2.
  • There may be some hyperlinks with ambiguous text descriptions, users may not be able to easily identify the destination of a hyperlink. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 2.4.4 (Link Purpose (In Context)).
