Bin Cooking is a project that aims to reduce household waste through interactive, educational workshops. The workshops are designed to increase confidence and skills to cook food that may end up wasted.

The project encourages zero-waste meals. They bring communities together where they can go through their fridge or cupboards and rescue any ingredients that need using up, or items that would be binned. This means less food is wasted and encourages sustainable behaviour.

People: Volunteers to learn; volunteers who have an interest in cooking and sharing recipes.
Resources: Kitchen, stove, and utensils; ingredients; sometimes sourcing food from supermarket chains that would be wasted.
